How to find points

How to find points

There are two main ways of finding points: anatomical landmarks and dimensional segments (Cun). Method for finding points of anatomical landmarks is the most accurate. When you localize the point is its binding to protruding bones, permanent tubercles and pits the skin along the contours of the major muscles and sense organs. However, the points are not always near a clear anatomical landmarks, so for these points fit the system of division of each region of the body into a number proportional to the segments, which are called "proportional Cun. This division is as follows: human height is 75 proportional Cun (hereinafter - the short-Cun) from the frontal to the occipital border of hair growth on her head in the midline - 12 Cun, from the nose to the frontal boundary of the growth of hair on the middle line - 3 Cun, from the rear boundary of the hair growth to the point of da chzhuy T.14 (located between the 7 cervical vertebrae and a thoracic vertebrae) in the midline - Z Cun; on the back of the rear of the median line to the inner edge blades - 3 Cun; on the abdomen at an average line from the pubic bone to the navel - 5 Cun; on the abdomen from the navel to the base of xiphoid process - 8 Cun - on her stomach from the midline to the outer edge of the rectus abdominis - 2 Cun: - on the chest from the middle to sredneklyuchichnoy line - 4 Cun; on the chest from the bottom of xiphoid process to the jugular notch of sternum - 9 Cun; on the upper limb from the front (or rear) axillary fold to the elbow crease - 9 Cun; on the upper limb from the elbow to the wrist crease - 12 Cun; on the lower extremity on the level of sacroiliac -coccygeal articulation (or the upper edge of the pubic bone) to the popliteal crease - 18 Cun; on the lower limbs from the popliteal crease to a line drawn between the tops of the ankles - 16 Cun; addition of the term "proportional Cun", there is the term "individual Cun. The latter is equal to the distance between the skin folds bent middle finger. WARNING! Localization of points and dimensional landmarks taken to indicate a "proportional Cun, and pricking depth - in the individual Cun" Therefore, in chapter 5 to describe points in the concept of "Cun" embeds a different meaning depending on where (in describing the location or depth of pricking ) applies this term. In addition, some literature you can find the term "fen". Fen is 1 / 10 of Cun and can also be proportionate and individual.
